Apart from when I went teaching bubble Gum, all I have been wearing is my yoga pants over the last two months. I bet you have been living in your comfy clothes as well and you haven't given your wardrobe a lot of thought. How to Marie Kondo when you don't have Netflix - Baby Hints and Tips

When you look at tidying Super Heroes, you can't go past Marie Kondo. She has whole television series on tidying and wrote several books on it. She LOVES messy houses because she so enjoys tidying up.

I am not suggesting you start living like her, I personally would find it a tad too extreme. But it is always a good idea to learn from extreme people. Take their wisdom and use it to enhance your own life, without going the full extemist way.

What I love about her, is that not only has she taught me how much fun tidying up can be, she also treats objects with love and respect. For example, when you tidy your wardrobe, she says you should stroke all your clothing with love and gratitude. Thank it for the way it makes you feel when you wear it. You will enjoy and appreciate all your clothes so much more. In return, they will spark joy for you.

Next, sort your clothes by items, so T-Shirts by T-Shirts, pants by pants, sports clothes by sports clothes etc. You might have outgrown some of your clothes, or you might not enjoy them anymore. Have a bag ready for clothing recycling and put all the things you don't want anymore in there.

Put all dirty clothes in the laundry and anything that's ripped or is missing buttons in a mending basket.

What is left needs to be lovingly and nicely folded.

Watch this video for amazing folding tips. It's origami with your clothes.

I like to put my folded clothes in rainbow order. It's immensely satisfying to open your drawer and see your clothes like that organised. My own kids made fun of me when I started origami folding and colour coordinating my clothes, but now they all do it because it is fun and makes life so much easier on a cold early morning when you're not sure what to wear.

It sparkles with joy.
