Georgina Beyer and Numers Which Are Prime

Today we will be looking at Georgina Beyer. Like yesterday, read the information and in your own words, write a short bio of her with a stunning illustration.

What an amazing person she is! I find her story so inspiring.

Prime Numbers and Factors
In maths today, we will be looking at factor trees and prime numbers.

Remember what a FACTOR is?

A pair of numbers which once you multiply them become a certain number.

Example: 24= 8x3, so 8 and 3 are FACTORS of 24

Now, remember what a PRIME NUMBER is?

A number which only can be divided by 1 or itself. Check this out:

TASK: make a number board up to 100. Colour all prime numbers in RED.

Once you have got this, check this out:

Tomorrow I will post a task where you can make your own factor trees. Or if you are adventurous, try some yourself!

See you tomorrow!
